This coffee comes from Rutsiro, Rwanda, and is processed at Nkora washing station, the first washing station to open in the country. Nkora is powered by hydroelectric renewable energy and operates a 66-student preschool for the local community that is entirely funded by proceeds from the washing station. With its silky body, balanced acidity and earthy undertones, this coffee is a great example of traditional Rwandan brew.
